• Learning From My Betting Blunders

I have been betting on the net or at real life casinos for a good many years. I have been taught, the addiction is able to take a hold of you and you won’t even see it until you are broke. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I have gone through many hundreds of dollars in only a short period of time and at times, I still go too far. It seems you are only having sum excitement up until you make a choice to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you keep advising yourself "I could earn it back" ad infinitum. It does not work. Then you feel icky in your stomach and the more you try the faster you lose.

When you find that you are up, STAY on the UP! When you begin to squander, do not tell yourself, "well only 1 more" a number of times, believe me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you plan on gambling on slot machines, keep a figure separate ahead of beginning your wagering. DO NOT exceed this restriction, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in an alternate cup. Don’t spend your winnings at any cost. After you have played through your initial predetermined range, stop. Depart, whether it’s on the internet or in a real life gambling den, don’t stay at the tables or machines. Always keep in mind, there no doubt will be other days, another time. Obviously, this technique is able to work for any casino game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, twenty-one or any other casino game.

Remember, gambling is supposed to be FUN not burdensome, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you can’t pay for the loss, do not even begin.
